Passport and ID Photo Requirements
To ensure your photo meets official standards, please follow these guidelines carefully:
- Remove all eyeglasses, sunglasses, or tinted glasses.
- If you cannot remove your glasses for medical reasons, include a signed note from your doctor with your application.
- No uniforms or clothing that looks like a uniform (e.g., camouflage or military attire).
- No hats or head coverings, unless worn for religious or medical reasons.
- Avoid wearing white or light-colored clothing — a darker color is recommended as it provides better contrast against the light background.
- Religious Attire: If you wear a head covering for religious purposes, include a signed statement confirming it is worn daily in public.
- Medical Attire: If you wear a head covering for medical purposes, submit a signed doctor’s note confirming it is medically necessary.
- Your full face must be visible, and the head covering should not block any part of your face or cast shadows.
- No headphones or wireless hands-free devices are allowed in the photo.
- You may wear jewelry, including facial piercings, as long as they do not obscure your face.
- No face coverings or medical masks should be worn, unless medically necessary.
- If you must wear a mask for medical reasons, submit a signed statement from your doctor confirming the need.

When choosing your outfit, keep in mind the following color recommendations:
